With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has released the book “Sermons and Essays” by congregate of the Mother See, representative of the Inter-Church Relations Department, Rev. Supreme Archimandrite Shaheh Ananyan and the book “The Public and Diplomatic Works of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin (1918-20)” by Avag Harutyunyan, reported the Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The first book features not only sermons, but also the observations that the author has made on various Christianity-related issues, national and ecclesiastical events and holidays in the form of editorials and short essays.

The second book, which is dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the declaration of the First Republic of Armenia, analyzes the political aspects of the interior situation of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church between 1918 and 1920, the role of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin within the system of international relations of the Republic of Armenia, the system of relations between the Mother See and the Republic of Armenia, as well as the attitude of the Mother See towards the phenomena that form a part of Armenia’s domestic and foreign policies.

The first book was published with a donation from the Sarkis Gabrielian Foundation, and the second was published with a donation from Mr. Vahan Martirosyan.
