Tehran hosts screening of “The Road to Our Dream” film dedicated to 100th anniversary of Republic of Armenia and 30th anniversary of Karabakh Movement

On February 21, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Iran, Hovhannes Tumanyan Hall of Chaharmahal Union of Tehran hosted the screening of the film “The Road to Our Dream”, which is produced by Sharm Holding, Armenia Public Television and DHM Studio and presents 7 stories.

Hayern Aysor, citing Iran’s Alik Armenian Daily, reports that among the guests from Armenia was General Director of Sharm Holding Karen Ghazaryan. This film was selected because the screening was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia and to the 30th anniversary of the Karabakh Movement and since the short stories were real stories about Armenians during war and Armenians reviving after the war.

Before the film screening, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Iran Artashes Tumanyan gave a speech in which he mentioned the importance of the screening. After his speech, he gave the floor to Karen Ghazaryan.

Among those attending the film screening were Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran, Archbishop Sepuh Sarkisian, as well as representatives of the Diocesan Council and national bodies and unions.
