Yerevan to host first screening of film “We Remember Stalingrad”

On February 23 at 12:00, Yerevan’s Moscow Cinema will host the first screening of the documentary film “We Remember Stalingrad”, which is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad.
As reported the “Armenian-Russian Youth Union” to Hayern Aysor, among the attendees of the first screening will be high-ranking officials, 7 veterans of the Battle of Stalingrad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Ivan Volinkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Igor Nazaruk, Deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, leaders of the Union of Veterans of the Republic of Armenia, schoolchildren, university students, as well as representatives of patriotic non-governmental organizations adjunct to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, universities and others.
The film was produced by the “Armenian-Russian Youth Unity” (ARYU) NGO, which has been around in Armenia for the past 16 years and is the first officially registered Armenian-Russian youth union.
The partners supporting the event are the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan, the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, Moscow Cinema, “Diaspora of Javakhk in Russia” NGO, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia, the Moscow branch of the Union of Armenians of Russia NGO, the Youth Foundation of Armenia, Jupiter Photo Express LLC and the Home of Compatriots in Moscow.
