In October 2017, the two schools concluded a memorandum of cooperation through the Sister Schools Program of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.
Among those attending the teleconference were Chief Specialist of the Department of General Education at Yerevan Municipality Armine Amiryan and Head of the Division for Academic and Educational Programs of the Department of All-Armenia Programs at the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Sirvard Hambaryan, who conveyed the welcoming and congratulatory remarks of Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan addressed to the representatives of the two Armenian schools. Principal of “Dprotsaser” Armenian School Haig Sarkisian expressed words of gratitude to the Ministry of Diaspora. According to him, thanks to the Ministry, the ties with the school in Armenia serve as a great source of inspiration for the teachers and students.
During the teleconference held under the title “Your Spring Will Be In Armenian”, the students of both schools recited poems and performed songs devoted to the mother language. This helped create a beautiful and touching environment in which the students recited poems, sang songs and showed the national spirit. Both schools valued the work that the Ministry of Diaspora has done to strengthen the bonds between Armenia and the Diaspora.
