Armenian dance and music at international airport in Sao Paulo (video)

On February 12, Armenian music was heard and Armenian dances were performed at Guarulios International Airport in Sao Paulo. This is how members of the Kilikia and Arevig Dance Ensembles of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society Brazil saw Armenia’s dance instructor Hovhannes Dashtoyan off at the airport.

“It was a very impressive and unforgettable moment. I didn’t expect the members of the dance ensembles to surprise me like that. I was very busy and spent unforgettable days in Brazil, and what I saw at the airport seemed to wrap everything up,” Hovhannes Dashtoyan said in an interview with Hayern Aysor.

Let us add that dance instructor Hovhannes Dashtoyan was on a visit to Brazil with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora. From 20 December 2017 to 12 February 2018, within the scope of the 2017 “Program for Educational and Cultural Support to Armenian Communities (USA, Australia)” of the Ministry, Hovhannes Dashtoyan, who is one of the students of Merited Cultural Figure of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Ginosyan, visited Sao Paulo to hold training courses for the members of the Kilikia and Arevig Dance Ensembles of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society.
