On February 3, young and talented pianist of Stepanakert Anahit Arushanyan received First Prize and a Special Award for best performing technique and a gold medal during the Forte International Competition held at Carnegie Hall in New York.

As reported the Facebook page of the Ministry of Culture of Artsakh, Anahit Arushanyan has won several international competitions. In 2017 alone, she received First Prize at the international competition dedicated to Mozart in Georgia, the Grand Prix at the Stars at Tenerife competition-festival held on the Canary Islands in October and First Prize at the Manhattan International Music Competition in November.
