Shushi’s Naregatsi Art Institute to host exhibition and mono play
On February 7 at 18:00, Naregatsi Art Institute in Shushi will host the exhibit of wooden items of film director and actor Sergey Tovmasyan entitled “Another Kind of Warmth”, and at 19:30 – the mono play “My Family is in My Luggage” by actress and film director Narine Grigoryan.
This is what administrator of Naregatsi Art Institute in Shushi Mariam Andreasyan said in an interview with Artsakhpress.
According to her, each of Tovmasyan’s works has an interesting story behind it and conveys an interesting message. “Tovmasyan’s acting talent provides her with the opportunity to create unique wooden ��?characters’, including scenes of a village, biblical fables, human and animal characters, each of which stands out with its emotions,” Andreasyan stated, adding that the exhibition will be held in Artsakh for the first time.
Touching upon the mono play “My Family is in My Luggage”, Andreasyan said that the play presents the real story of Narine Grigoryan’s family that coincides with the war.
“The play presents the actress’s childhood in Artsakh and Hrazdan, the consequences of war, children hiding in a basement and away from shootings and mine explosions, her father’s captivity and release and situations that are characteristic of war,” Andreasyan said, adding that entrance is free for everyone.
