On the occasion of March 8 (International Women’s Day), the working day will be Saturday, March 17 instead of Friday, March 9. The decision was taken during the government’s January 25 session, accepting as a basis Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On holidays and commemoration days of the Republic of Armenia”.

“This will provide citizens with the opportunity to have a couple of days off,” Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Stepanyan said.
