Armenia Union of Valence holds presentation of book “Cuisine of Armenia”

On January 12, the Jean Moulin Hall of Bourges-les-Valence hosted the presentation of the book “Cuisine d’Arménie” (“Cuisine of Armenia”). The event was organized by Armenia Union of Valence and held with the participation of the book’s authors, siblings Richard and Korin Zarzavatjian.
As reported Armenia Union to Hayern Aysor, the book caused uproar in France and has been presented on French television, radio and in newspapers.
Richard Zarzavatjian is a journalist for France2 TV, and Korin Zarzavatjian is an actress who recently paid a visit to Armenia.
The book contains nearly 100 Armenian dishes with photos and recipes. It is highly reputable in France and has already been sold in several thousands of copies.
There were more than 80 attendees, including representatives of the Armenian unions, societies and associations of Valence and members of the municipalities of Valence and Bourges-les-Valence.
In his speech, President of Armenia Union, journalist and cartoonist Krikor Amirzaian expressed gratitude to the guests for attending the literary event.
Afterwards, Richard and Korin Zarzavatjian presented the book, answered the attendees’ questions and signed books.
The presentation was followed by a reception during which Krikor Amirzaian invited the attendees to taste Armenia dishes and wine.
The next day, on January 13, the book “Cuisine d’Arménie” (“Cuisine of Armenia”) was held at Lucioles Library in Vien and the Les Frangins Armenian restaurant in central Vien. The book was also presented at Bahadourian Armenian Institution located at the Halles de Lyon Center in Lyon.
