On January 15, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan chaired a consultation at the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Among the participants were Deputy Minister Serzh Srapionyan, Head of the Department of Media and Public Relations Evelina Baghdasaryan and employees of the Department.

The participants of the consultation delivered reports on the activities carried out throughout 2017, and importance was attached to public relations and close collaboration with media outlets.

The Minister emphasized that it is necessary to expands cooperation with representatives of Armenian radio shows and TV shows in the Diaspora, make efforts to advocate repatriation and present the experience of repatriates and their successes in Armenia.

Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to proper coverage of the celebrations dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the declaration of the First Republic of Armenia, the 100^th anniversary of the heroic Battles of May, the 2,800^th anniversary of the establishment of Erebouni-Yerevan, the 100^th anniversary of Homenetmen and the 10^th anniversary of the Ministry of Diaspora.

Afterwards, Minister Hranush Hakobyan also held a consultation with employees of the Secretariat Division.
