Christmas gifts for children

On the occasion of the wonderful celebration of Christmas, pastor of Akhtala and adjacent villages, Priest Hetum Tarverdyan and spiritual servant of Khachik village, Deacon Arsen Matevosyan launched the Miracle of Christmas for Children Program with the support of congregate of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Friar Aghan Yernjakyan; pastor of the Holy Trinity Church, Priest Partev Muradyan and Secretary Harutyun.
As reported Hayern Aysor, on January 10, the charity program ended with a distribution of gifts to the children of 30 families of the Shnogh, Teghut and Karkop villages during an event held at St. Sarkis Armenian Church in Shnogh village of the Lori Province of the Republic of Armenia.
The event was funded by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Bible Society of Armenia and the believers of Yerevan and Etchmiadzin. Among the attendees were congregate of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Friar Aghan Yernjakyan; pastor of Shnogh, Priest Hetum Tarverdyan; head of village Davit Ghumashyan, as well as members of the youth union of the Holy Trinity Church in Yerevan. The children received their gifts after the Lord’s Prayer was said.
