Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan has posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Albert Dallakyan is one of the heroes of our days. The Ministry of Defense has always stood and will continue to stand by the side of Albert Dallakyan and all of our other heroic boys and their families. Albert needs to undergo a very difficult surgery. By law, we are unable to reimburse the cost of that surgery abroad since that surgery can also be performed in Armenia. However, it is incomparably more likely for Albert to recover quickly in foreign clinics that have incomparably more experience and skills.

I have recommended that the family try to raise the required funds through a fundraiser. A couple of my friends and I have donated 10 percent ($45,000) of the required funds. I call on everyone to join this fundraiser and help Albert’s family collect the required funds as soon as possible. You can even help me by sharing this post. May God be with Albert, all of our heroes, our army and our people.”
