РусскийPeriod for obtaining Armenian passport for Armenian citizens of Syria, Lebanon and Iraq extended by Diaspora Ministry’s proposal
On December 21, during a session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan submitted the draft decision proposed by the Ministry of Diaspora. According to the draft decision, citizens of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Lebanon and the Republic of Iraq who acquire citizenship of the Republic of Armenia have a privilege when obtaining a passport. By the given privilege, the citizens of the mentioned countries may exceptionally obtain the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Armenia at the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Armenia in their respective countries. The citizens of the given countries can benefit from this entitlement until December 31, 2018.
