On December 20, the Committee of Regional Deputies of Valencia had a meeting with Deputy of the representatives of Ararat Armenian Association and of the Committee of Regional Deputies Jose Enrique Aguar and Deputy of the Parliament of Valencia Domingo Rojo Sanchez, reported Ararat Armenian Association to Hayern Aysor.
President of the Association Ararat Ghukasyan submitted to the Deputies a petition for Armenian Genocide recognition briefly presenting the history and fact of the Armenian Genocide and stressing the importance of recognition by Spain, particularly Valencia.
Jose Enrique Aguar and Domingo Rojo expressed commitment to present the resolution on Armenian Genocide recognition to the Parliament and Regional Committee of Deputies of Valencia.
