Five suspects released in Hrant Dink trial

Five suspects in the Hrant Dink murder case have been released in accordance to a court decision on December 8, NTV reports.

All five served as officers of Istanbul’s Gendarmerie at the time of the murder.

The suspects were released as their defense argued that they couldn’t clearly be identified in certain videos.

Hrant Dink, the ethnic Armenian editor-in-chief of Istanbul’s Agos Armenian Daily, was shot dead outside his office on January 19, 2007.
