Armenian women of New Julfa provided assistance to residents of earthquake-stricken Kermanshah

On November 15, the board of the Benevolent Union of Armenian Women of New Julfa provided humanitarian aid to those devastated by the earthquake that struck the Kermanshah Province of Iran.

As reported Yeranoush Tahmazian to Hayern Aysor from New Julfa, the members and several friends of the Union helped wrap the foods, clothes and other necessary accessories and transferred them to the Welfare Organization of Isfahan in order for the latter to deliver them to the people in the disaster zone.

Let us also mention that, on this occasion, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan, Fr. Supreme Archimandrite Sipan Kechejian visited the Benevolent Union of Armenian Women of New Julfa, highly appreciated the initiative and wished the Union success in carrying out its godly acts.

On November 16, the Union received assistance from the Iranians and Armenians that will be provided to the disaster zone.
