On November 13, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan chaired a consultation at the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Among the participants were Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff Firdus Zakaryan and the heads of departments and divisons.

The heads of departments and divisions delivered their weekly reports and pinpointed the upcoming programs and events.

The Minister attached importance to the modification of the concept paper on the Armenia-Diaspora partnership, the development and finalization of the strategies on preservation and development of Western Armenian and on organizing of repatriation, the proper conduct and popularization of community-wide events to be held as part of the Armenian Culture Days in Russia and the enlargement of the program for support to Armenia’s bordering villages.

Other work-related issues were discussed, and the Minister gave assignments.
