Armenian Culture Home in Valence hosts “Children’s Cultural Studio” event
From October 30 to November 3, the Armenian Culture Home in Valence hosted educational and entertaining events under the title “Children’s Cultural Studio” for Armenian children of Valence between the ages of 5 and 11 and their parents.
As reported the Armenian Culture Home to Hayern Aysor, the children are already familiar with the event and participate with pleasure and excitement, and this time was no exception.
President of the Armenian Culture Home Nazo Jinbashian and her group, taking as a basis the experience of the previous four years, had prepared for two months so that the children were given the opportunity to communicate in Armenian and learn about Armenian culture.
The program featured seminars devoted to Armenian arts and culture, Armenian language lessons, painting, Armenian aesthetics, dances, singing, games and more.
The painting lesson was held by talented artist Jerome Boyadjian, while baker Armine Sbirhan-Rasgelinian introduced the children to the art of making fruit pastes (Pastes de fruits).
At the end, nearly 80 attendees viewed the handicraft works of the children and listened to performances of Armenian songs and music.
The next event is scheduled to take place during the vacation for the New Year and the vacation in February.
