CNN host to be included in Azerbaijan’s “black list” for visiting Artsakh

Azerbaijan continues to add names to its “black list”. This time, Baku is not content with the visit of CNN’s TV show host to Artsakh.

Thus, TV show host on CNN, American chef Anthony Bourdain will be included in Azerbaijan’s “black list” for visiting Artsakh, reported Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiev, reported APA.

Recently, Bourdain paid a visit to Shushi to produce segments for his show “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown”. Let us remind that he had arrived in Armenia with Serj Tankian. The first stop of the TV personality was Naregatsi Art Institute, which he was visiting with Serj Tankian. Bourdain’s show will also feature performances by the Naregatsi Orchestra. During the visit to Artsakh, Bourdain tasted jengyalov hats, porridge, Armenian barbecue, matsoun, as well as mulberry vodka and cornel vodka. Serj Tankian accompanied the crew throughout their visit and posted the following on his Instagram: “Thank you Anthony Bourdain for coming to Armenia and seeing her for who she really is”.

In 2014, CNN had also covered Armenia through the program “On the Road”, writes yerkir.am.
