The people gathered in the VIP hall of Zvartnots International Airport look at the flight schedules impatiently as they wait for the Beirut-Yerevan plane to make a landing and joke that they have come to ��?greet seedlings’. Actually, after Armenia’s Ambassador to Lebanon got off the plane, boxes of seedlings of Lebanese cedars were brought into the waiting room under the pretentious name “diplomatic cargo”.
The addressees of the gift promise that they won’t spare any efforts to grow the cedars in Armenia, but it will take two years to draw a final conclusion since they have to see if the trees are sticky or not and how they stand the cold in the winter and the dryness in the summer.
