Weightlifter Sona Poghosyan (75 kg category) has become a European champion in the U-20 girls’ tournaments at the 2017 European Youth Weightlifting Championships.
As reported the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs to Hayern Aysor, based on the results of the biathlon, Sona Poghosyan lifted 227 kg. The Armenian athlete also scored small gold medals in the snatch (97 kg) and jerk (130 kg) drills.
On October 20, Andranik Karapetyan (85 kg category), Karush Ghukasyan (94 kg category) and Arpine Dalalyan (90 kg+ category) will be competing.
