Armenian soldier received necessary treatment with support of council of St. Nazareth Armenian Church of Calcutta

On October 12, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received Sergeant Gevorg Dadasyan, who received a heavy injury during the military operations that took place on the line of contact of the troops of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in November 2016. Dadasyan was accompanied by spiritual leader of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, His Grace, Fr. Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, reported the Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to Hayern Aysor.
Bishop Vrtanes informed His Holiness that the soldier, who left for India with the blessing of His Holiness a couple of months ago, has received necessary treatment with the support of the council of the St. Nazareth Armenian Church in Calcutta.
Giving his blessings and expressing his wishes to the brave young Armenian, the Catholicos of All Armenians stated that it is great consolation to support, in any way possible, the brave Armenians who put their lives at risk for the homeland and keep the borders of the homeland safe and secure with their service. The Supreme Patriarch also stated that, from now on, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will continue to show its support to help wounded soldiers receive treatment and recover.
Head of the Office for Social Services at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Rev. Fr. Priest Marcos Mangasaryan was attending the meeting.
