Delegates of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe have elected Stella Kyriakides President of the Assembly.
Cyprus’s delegate garnered the majority of the votes in the third stage of the October 10 vote.
The other candidate was Lithuanian delegate Emanuelis Zingeris.
Let us remind that former President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Pedro Agramunt resigned last week.
