Children of Artsakh received new musical instruments through “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement (video)
On September 26, several art and music schools of Artsakh received new musical instruments through the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia. As reported the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Artsakh, according to Hayern Aysor, 160 musical instruments were obtained through a fundraiser organized by AGBU Buenos Aires. According to Vice-Chairman of the Chapter Antonio Sarafian, ten concerts were organized in various cities of South America through the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement. The goal was to disseminate Armenian culture, make Artsakh recognizable and organize a fundraiser to join the movement declared about a year ago.
One of the three pianos was granted to the Ishkhanadzor village of Kashatagh region, two pianos were granted to Kindergarten N 4 of Stepanakert, and the rest of the instruments were granted to the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Artsakh Republic in order for the Ministry to transfer them to the art and music schools and the musical college operating in the republic.
