Davit Hakobyan officially opens photo exhibition in Poland’s Lublin

On August 14, 2017, the vestibule of the Municipality of Lublin hosted the solemn opening ceremony of personal photographer of the President of the Republic of Armenia Davit Hakobyan’s personal photo exhibition called “Memories of the Road”.

The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon, in partnership with the Municipality of Lublin. Among the participants of the solemn opening ceremony were Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan; Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk; Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Arsenyan Pastor of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church in Poland, Archimandrite Tatchat Tsaturyan; representatives of several Armenian organizations of Poland, journalists and others. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk noted that it was a great pleasure for the Municipality of Lublin to host Davit Hakobyan’s photo exhibition, which also showcases the photos taken during the visit that President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid to Lublin in 2013.

In his speech, Ambassador Ghazaryan expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Lublin for providing the opportunity to organize the talented Armenian photographer’s exhibition in the building of the municipality and attached importance to the fact that the exhibition was organized as part of the events dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the establishment of Lublin.

Davit Hakobyan also expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Lublin, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland and all the participants of the opening ceremony for organizing the exhibition. Afterwards, the exhibition was declared open, providing visitors with the opportunity to view the unique photos of the visits of the President of the Republic of Armenia abroad and the sites worth seeing in Armenia.
