At the festival, Armenia was represented by Geghard Armenian Folk Dance Ensemble led by artistic director, Merited Artist of the Republic of Armenia Albert Kiziryan and stood out with highly artistic performances of Armenian dances performed to the sounds of skillful musical arrangements and a variety of national costumes.

Among the attendees of the opening ceremony was Envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Romania Ashot Grigoryan, who had meetings with President of the Council of Argeş Constantin Dan Manu and Mayor of Piteşti Constantin Cornel Ionică.
