Flow of passengers grows by 28% at airports in Armenia

Between January and July 2017, the flow of passengers at the two airports of the Republic of Armenia made up 1,373,856, which is 28% more than the indicator of the same months of the previous year.
As reported Spokesman of the General Department of Civil Aviation adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia Satenik Hovhannisyan, in July 2017, the flow of passengers at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan made up 270,751, surpassing the indicator of the same month of the previous year by 19%.
Between January and July 2017, compared to the same months in 2016, Zvartnots International Airport registered 24.7% growth of passengers.
Between January and July 2017, the transfer of cargo at Zvartnots International Airport made up 12,708 tons of products, which is 59.7% more than the indicator of the same period in 2016.
In July 2017, the flow of passengers at Shirak Airport in Gyumri made up 9,098, surpassing the indicator of the same month of the previous year by 15.063%.
Between January and July 2017, the flow of passengers at Shirak Airport grew by 526.6, compared to the same months of the previous year.
Between January and July 2017, departures and arrivals grew by 24.2% at Zvartnots and Shirak Airports, compared to the same months of the previous year.
