Malkhas Amoyan becomes vice-champion of Junior World Wrestling Championship

Wrestler Malkhas Amoyan (66 kg category) competed with Iranian wrestler Amin Yavar Kaviyaninezhad, lost to the latter and scored a silver medal at the Junior Greco-Roman World Wrestling Championship, which ends today in the Finnish city of Tampere.

As reported on the official website of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, in the competition for the bronze medal, Tigran Minasyan (55 kg) also lost to Russian wrestler Emin Severshakev.

Superheavyweight wrestler Davit Ovasapyan was left out of the competition after the quarter final.
