Part of proceeds of Areni Choir’s concert to go to Armenian soldiers

As reported Hayern Aysor, on September 17, New York’s Areni Choir, which is under the direction of Armine Vardanyan, will present a new musical called “Fantasia”.
The musical presentation will feature performances of the songs of Komitas and Sayat-Nova, as well as old and new Armenian songs by professional singers, including Tenor Yeghishe Manucharyan, Mezzo Soprano Victoria Avetisyan, Soprano Narine Ojakhyan, trumpet player Sargis Nersisyan and an orchestra.
The purpose of the musical presentation is to disseminate the cultural values of the Armenian through music, particularly among foreigners.
Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Wounded Armenian Heroes Fund.
