Armenian cycling team to participate in UEC European Track Championships

The second half of the month of July is going to be heated for the Cycling Federation of Armenia since the cyclists are going to participate in several major tournaments across Europe.

As reported the Cycling Federation of Armenia to Hayern Aysor, on the morning of 15 July, the cycling team of Armenia is leaving for the Portuguese city of Anadia where it will participate in the July 17-23 UEC European Track Championships. Edgar Stepanyan, Robert Khachatryan and Levon Lavchyan will leave for Anadia with the accompaniment of the team’s chief coach Andranik Arustamyan.

Right after the European championships, Edgar Stepanyan and Mher Mkrtchyan, who is training in France, will leave for Côte d’Ivoire where they will participate in the Francophonie Games.

From July 23 to 30, the three teen cyclists will participate in the European Junior Summer Olympic Festival to be held in the Hungarian city of Gyor.

To show their best at the upcoming championships, the Armenian cyclists trained for 15 days in Tsaghkadzor under the direction of their coach.
