2017 “Ari Tun” Program: We Armenians are strong, proud and powerful on our land and in our homeland!
There are seven precious sanctities that Armenians have maintained for centuries: books, Masis, the spirit of building, faith, language…For centuries, the sacred words have been Armenian Family, and above everything else – the Mother Homeland…
With inspiring poems devoted to patriotism and performances of Armenian national songs and dances, the last lesson of the accelerated Armenian Language Course (part of the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora) began with this introduction.
As reported Hayern Aysor, the students were charmed by the history of the Armenian people and the unbreakable spirit of the Armenians. They were proud that they are a part of the Armenian nation. According to the teachers, including Shoghik Pahlevanyan, Lusine Hayriyan, Narine Gevorgyan, Makruhi Gevorgyan, Gaiane Barseghyan, Lena Tatosyan, Aida Ohanyan, Valya Stepanyan and Gaiane Babloyan, the course fully served its purpose. During the course, all the teachers taught the young Diaspora Armenians the Armenian language through different teaching methods.
The participants of the “Ari Tun” Program shared their impressions and expressed their feelings through posters devoted to various topics. What was especially touching were the posters portraying a flock of cranes hand-in-hand, symbolizing unity and homeward bound.
The 172 young Diaspora Armenian participants of the 3rd stage of the “Ari Tun” Program became convinced that we Armenians are strong, proud and powerful on our land, in our homeland, with our faith and with our mother language!
