3 Armenians elected to French parliament

Based on the results of the June 18 elections of the French National Assembly, 3 Armenians have been elected Deputies, writes Artsakhpress.

Jacques Marilosian won in the Sen Clou suburb of Paris, representing French President Emanuel Macron’s En Marche Party.

Marilosian garnered 50.42% of the votes, while Republican candidate Eric Berdoati received 49.58%.

Member of Emanuel Macron’s En Marche Party Giyom Kasbarian garnered 55% of the votes and scored a victory in the first district of the Er and Louar Department (to the north of central France), while Republican Franc Maselous garnered 44% of the votes.

Besides, Daniel Kazarian also won in the second phase of the French parliamentary elections.

Let us remind that the citizens of the Fifth Republic were elected Deputies for the next five years.
