The first plane made a test landing at the airport in Syunik Province of the Republic of Armenia. This is what Advisor to the Governor of Syunik Province Robert Hayrapetyan posted on his Facebook page with a video.

Earlier, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan had informed that projects worth $55 mln dollars would be implemented in the province. Negotiations over re-exploitation of the airport in Kapan are underway.

Governor of Syunik Province Vahe Hakobyan has announced that studies on re-exploitation of the airport in Kapan are over and that a decision has been made to restore the airport.
