Archbishop Karekin Bekchian to arrive in Istanbul

The Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople has issued a statement on the arrival of Patriarchal Vicar, Archbishop Karekin Bekchian in Istanbul.
As reported the Patriarchate, Bekchian will arrive in Istanbul on 1 June at 14:45.
In the evening, a welcoming and oath ceremony will be held at the Main Church in Gumgapu at 17:00. “His Holiness has expressed the desire to see Armenian believers come together at the Main Church, not at the airport. So, we cordially invite the authorities and media representatives of the community and the district, as well as our believers to the ceremony and to welcome His Holiness,” the statement reads.
