On November 28, the RA Embassy in Tehran held an inaugural ceremony for Telethon 2013 organized by the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund. Donations will be geared towards the construction of the Vardenis-Martakert Highway.

The event began with a speech by RA Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Grigor Arakelyan, who attached importance to the role and activities of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund.

Representative of the Fund’s Chapter in Iran Arin Karimian gave a short presentation of the activities carried out by the Fund’s Chapter throughout the years, after which Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran, Archbishop Sepuh Sarkisian gave his blessing and expressed his wishes to the Fund.

Iranian-Armenian benefactors and guests attended the inaugural ceremony.
