On 7 April, the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church celebrates the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary.
Years ago, under the high direction of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary was proclaimed as a day of blessing of women waiting to feel the joy of motherhood.
On this occasion, a special blessing ceremony will be conducted after Holy Masses to be served at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and all Armenian churches.
