15 more apartments of the New Cilicia settlement of the Martakert region built at the initiative and by financial assistance of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia was handed over to their new owners.

The flats were handed over to the families of fallen soldiers and large families of Kichan and Nor Ghazanchi communities of Martakert region.

The head of Martakert regional administration said that the territory where the flats have been built is sacred place for the residents. During Artsakh war, the Armenian soldiers suspended the advance of the enemy right here.

“Initially 10 flats were built and handed over to the residents. Then the construction of 22 houses started. Today, 15 apartments have been put into operation. The apartments are in compliance with modern urban conditions,” said Khachatryan.

Aram Babayan in an interview with “Artsakhpress” expressed his satisfaction with the new conditions, and noted that it is much-awaited gift for them.
