РусскийManufacturing industry rises by 19.4% in Armenia
Manufacturing output amounted to 53 billion and 606.8 million AMD in January, 2017. “Armenpress” reports, citing the data released by the National Statistical Service of Armenia, this is an increase of 19.4% against the same period of 2016. Foodstuff production takes a major share of manufacturing industry.
It amounted to 16 billion and 775.7 million AMD in 2017 rising by 8.2%. Production of base metals has increased by 24.5% amounting to 13 billion and 251.1 million AMD. The production of beverages has also recorded significant rise amounting to 7 billion and 270.2 million AMD – 70% rise against 2016.
Clothing production has increased by 60.6%.
