The procedure for the issuance of entry visas for foreign nationals will be facilitated.

During the February 16 session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan stated the following: “For the purpose of promoting tourism and eliminating needless complications for tourists (completion of application/questionnaires during issuance of entry visas to foreign nationals at checkpoints on the state border of the Republic of Armenia and elimination of levy of state duty for entry visa of the Republic of Armenia exclusively in cash), I assign the Police of the Republic of Armenia to, within a one-week period, discuss with interested bodies and submit to the Government of the Republic of Armenia the draft of the relevant decision on making amendments and a supplement to the relevant decision of the Government for approval, proposing to lift the requirement for foreign nationals having arrived in Armenia to complete application/questionnaires at border checkpoints.”
