Renowned Diaspora Armenian intellectual Yervant Pamboukian awarded with Commemorative Gold Medal

On February 10, Diaspora Armenian intellectual, historian Yervant Pamboukian presented his edited version of Volume XII of the series of books entitled “Materials Devoted to the History of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun” in Yerevan.

The book was recently released in Beirut and is entirely devoted to the Armenian Genocide. It includes materials that serve as sources and are kept in the central archives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun.

The book also features the eyewitness accounts of Armenian Genocide survivors compiled by Shavarsh Misakyan, who was one of the first to document the Armenian Genocide. Yervant Pamboukian has been editing this voluminous collection of archival documents since 2009.

Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Suren Manukyan gave a speech in which he appreciated the renowned intellectual and his merit.

Suren Manukyan granted the James Bryce Commemorative Gold Medal set by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and a certificate to Yervant Pamboukian, reported the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
