On the night of 8 February, Azerbaijani forces committed nearly 40 ceasefire violations on the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, firing over 200 shots at Armenian border guards with 60 mm mortars and different types of grenade launchers and artillery weapons.
As reported the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, according to Hayern Aysor, more intensive violations were recorded in the eastern and northeastern directions of the frontline. In the mentioned sectors, the Azerbaijani forces fired a total of 15 projectiles (9 from mortars, 6 from grenade launchers).
The frontline military units of the Defense Army continue to maintain full control on the frontline and are performing their on-duty service with confidence.
