On January 16 at around 12:35, in circumstances yet unknown, contractual soldier, resident of Hadrut Arayik Sargsyan (born in 1995) was mortally wounded in a maintenance station of one of the military units of the Defense Army stationed in the southeastern direction, reported the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

Investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.
