Youth living in villages of Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk presenting their issues of concern

The Startup Program is aimed at raising the level of awareness of youth in the villages and has brought together 25 Armenian youth from Armenia’s provinces, as well as Artsakh and Javakhk. The program is being carried out in Tsakhkadzor on 12-17 November through a grant provided by the RA President.
As President of the Armenian PR Association NGO Astghik Avetisyan told ArmenPress, the program will help the youth in the villages become full-fledged members of civil society and will foster initiatives for entrepreneurial activities in the villages.
President of the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia, youth policy expert in the Council of Europe Atom Mkhitaryan participated in the opening ceremony of the program, attached importance to work with youth in the villages and urged them to be active and enterprising. During the cross-cultural event, the youth presented their meals, drinks and the traditions that characterize their respective residences.
During the seminar, the participants of the program will discuss the key issues facing youth in the villages, as well as the ways and methods of solving those issues. The participants will also gain knowledge about entrepreneurial activity, financial management and the legislation and will be introduced to the activities of local and international organizations and the youth programs that are being carried out.
The program will lead to the publication of an informative leaflet that will include the methods and suggestions for solving the issues concerning youth in the villages and discussed during the program. The participants with the best ideas will be given a chance to organize theme-based events and carry out programs in their respective villages. The participants of the program will also create youth clubs and will act under the auspices of the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia.
The program is carried out by the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA), with support from the Youth Foundation of Armenia and through the grant provided by the RA President.
