The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces more than 60 times, from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around than 900 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of various caliber rifle weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

More intense violations were recorded toward the southern (Hadrut) and eastern (Martuni) defense positions, where, aside from rifles and machine guns, the adversary fired also from sniper rifles.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units primarily refrained from responding to the ineffective shots fired by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and continued confidently defending the military positions that are under their protection.

As for the “information” which the Azerbaijani propaganda machine disseminated on Monday, and with respect to their “downing” two Armenian drones, it is nothing more than an ordinary false propaganda.
