Young Armenians of Pyatigorsk join “What are YOU doing for Karabakh?” pan-Armenian initiative
Members of the Armenian youth organization of Pyatigorsk have joined the “What are YOU doing for Karabakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The Armenian community of Pyatigorsk is currently one of the largest communities in Northern Russia. In 1991, the Vahan Teryan Cultural Union was established with the purpose of consolidating the Armenians. In 1994, it was restructured and became a community. In 1997, the Armenian community was restructured and became a national and cultural autonomy.
