During the Turkish Press Council conference that was convened recently, it was decided to provide financial support to the newspapers belonging to national minorities, reported Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul.

It is noted that these papers are in severe financial hardship, and some of them are even on the verge of closing down.
