Armenia participated in UK Defence Academy’s International Day event
On November 26, the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in Shrivenham hosted the International Day event, which showcased the national cultures and cuisines of nearly 60 countries. Armenia was also represented with a separate pavilion, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.
At the Armenian pavilion set up with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United Kingdom and presented by a representative of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia studying at the Academy, visitors had the opportunity to become familiar with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Armenia and taste types of Armenian dishes, wines and brandies.
The event featured performances of the Armenian Kochari dance and several other Armenian national dances by London’s Akhtamar Armenian Dance Group, which received the appraisal of the attendees.
