RA Minister of Diaspora received President of Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO Lena Haladjian. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues on allocating spaces in the underground passageways and in the sectors adjacent to metro stations in Yerevan for Syrian-Armenian businessmen to sell their products.

The Ministry set the objective to solve the problem through Yerevan Municipality.

The sides also discussed the issue of granting incentives to Syrian-Armenian doctors who have provided medical consultations to Syrian-Armenians living in Armenia for many years and who provide free medical assistance to their compatriots.

The doctors provide the assistance in the area allocated by the AGBU and have obtained the appropriate equipment through the AGBU. The AGBU and the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO will soon create a legal organizational structure for the implementation of those activities and turn the services into services provided at polyclinics.
