In early 2016, young Members of the Parliament of Georgia representing various city councils left for the USA through a Georgian state program in order to participate in a program for exchange of experience. The main goal of the program is to help the young MPs exchange experiences with representatives of U.S. local authorities and local self-government bodies.

Among the MPs is majoritarian MP of the Sacrebulo of Akhaltskha Hambardzum Baboyan, who has also had meetings with several members of the Armenian community and President of Washington Policy Forum Armenia Davit Grigoryan.
