РусскийNagorno Karabakh forces push back Azerbaijani soldiers from neutral zone
Azerbaijani forces made over 100 ceasefire violations along the Nagorno KarabakhAzerbaijan line of contact, the Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh told.
The ministry’s statement reads: “Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime in the Nagorno KarabakhAzerbaijan line of contact around 100 times over the weekend. Azerbaijani forces fired more than 2300 shots at Armenian positions, using various caliber small arms. A group of Azerbaijani servicemen, conducting mine clearance, were observed in the neutral zone – in the northern direction of the line of contact.
The Azerbaijani forces were pushed back as result of countermeasures taken by the Defense Army. The Defense Army forces continue maintaining full control along the frontline and confidently carry out their military duties”.
